Tarkus is the second album by BRITISH PROGRESSIVE ROCK band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in 1971.Tarkus,as you can see on the cover,it's something like a ''Tatú'' and a Tank mixed.
This album has a loot of organ-keyboard work, good vocals by Greg Lake, and the very impressive speed of Carl Palmer on the title song.To me,this is one of the best progressive rock albums from ELP along with Brain Salad Surgery.Actully,I made a version of Tarkus with a friend of mine, using only the voices. It's very ''RACHANTE'' and some day i will put here on the blog.
