Blind Guardian - Imaginations From The Other Side (1995)

Imaginations from the Other Side is an album by Blind Guardian that was released in 1995. Is thought by many fans to be the most successful album by the band.[citation needed] This album also marks the first since their debut that Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray) had not guested on vocals or guitar. It is also the first album to have extracted singles from, "A Past and Future Secret" and "Bright Eyes". Remastered and re-released on 15th June 2007, with bonus tracks and videos.
Since Blind Guardian was always somewhat influenced by Metallica, the match is a natural one, and results in one of the band's better albums, balancing the epic, neo-classical elements of their sound nicely with the power-progressive-metal grooves. The band's compositional skill reaches its peak on Imaginations, making it their best and most complex work to date.
